Metro Rail System Map. Rosslyn is the farthest point east where both the Orange and Blue lines run. Click on the station name to get info about the Rosslyn Station. Rosslyn is served by 2 Metro rail lines and 14 metro bus lines. Shuttle buses provide access to Georgetown, Georgetown University and DuPont Circle.

3A,
3B and 3E - Lee Highway Line to Cherrydale,
East and West Falls Church, and Annandale.
4B, 4E and
4S - Pershing / Arlington Blvd Line to Courthouse,
Buckingham, Arlington Forest, and Seven Corners.
5A - Dulles Airport Line providing one-stop service
to Dulles for $3.00.
5B - Tysons Corner Line direct to Tysons Corner Center.
15K and
15L - Tysons / Dunn Loring Line to Langley,
McLean, Great Falls, Tysons Corner, Vienna, Oakton, and George
Mason University in Fairfax.
38B - Ballston / Faragut Square Line to Georgetown and
Faragut Square heading east and down Wilson Blvd to Ballston heading
west. Nextbus uses satellite
technology to predict the arrival times of 38B. Select East Coast
from the first dropdown menu. Nextbus also a map that plots all
38B buses in operation.
B11 - Bethesda Reverse Commute Route. Leaves every 20
mins between 6:02 and 9:02 AM for the Medical Center Metro Station.
Returns every 20 mins between 4:00 and 7:00 PM. Travel time -
approx. 45 mins.
FX404 - GMU Line down GW Parkway through Langley,
McLean, Tysons, Vienna, and Oakton to George Mason University's
main campus in Fairfax.
Local Shuttles to Georgetown and Georgetown University:
Georgetown
Shuttle - Metro Connection shuttles leave daily, every
10 minutes, from the Rosslyn Metro Station to Georgetown and Dupont
Circle Metro Station. Service: 7 AM weekdays to midnight weekdays and 2 AM Fri/Sat nights. The
fare is $0.50 one way.
Georgetown
University Transportation System (GUTS) -
The
Arlington Loop includes a stop at River Place. The Rosslyn
Route leaves every 20 minutes from the Rosslyn Station.
Car sharing services:
Get the access to cars without the expense of ownership. Members
pay for usage only - no insurance, parking, or gas payments. There
are 2 car sharing services in the area:
Zipcars
- The Rosslyn Zipcar (a short walk from River Place) is located
at 1701 N. Kent Street, across from the Berlin Wall Exhibit at
the opposite end of Freedom Park. Other Zipcar locations include
Georgetown and Courthouse (Zipcars Locations)
Flexcar -
has 7 cars at Rosslyn Metro and 6 cars at the Court House metro (Flexcar Locations).
